The Sandrone Vision<\/h2>\r\n

Luciano and his brother Luca focus solely on the very best. The Sandrone vision is to produce wines that reflect the cultural history and winemaking traditions of Langhe and Roero, using the most modern techniques to create balanced, pure, elegant, and harmonious wines. Luciano\u2019s daughter, Barbara, also spreads Sandrone\u2019s message to wine enthusiasts around the world.<\/p>\r\n

Excellence is Created in the Vineyard<\/h2>\r\n

Sandrone chose to work with three indigenous grape varieties: Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo. Over time, they selected plots based on altitude, exposure to the elements, and soil composition. Today, the family owns 27 hectares of vineyards and produces between 90,000 and 100,000 bottles annually from their five different wines: Dolcetto d\u2019Alba, Barbera d\u2019Alba, Nebbiolo d\u2019Alba (Valmaggiore), Barolo (Le Vigne), and Barolo (Aleste) from the world-renowned “Cannubi Boschis” vineyard. These are wines made with the greatest love for the craft, offering the best Barolo and Roero have to offer.<\/p>\r\n

Le Vigne and Cannubi Boschis, Praised by the International Press<\/h2>\r\n

Since 1985, the Nebbiolo grapes from the Cannubi Boschis vineyard have been vinified separately to produce the Barolo ‘Cannubi Boschis’. The vineyard sits at 250 meters above sea level, and the vines average 30 years of age. Since 2013, this unique Italian red wine has been released under the name Aleste, a combination of the names of his grandchildren, Alessia and Stefano. After bottling, the wine rests for another 18 months before it is sold. Both ‘Le Vigne’ and ‘Cannubi Boschis’ Barolo are highly praised by the international wine press, with scores from 95\/100 to 100\/100 from critics like Robert Parker, Wine Spectator, and Vinous.<\/p>\r\n

Standing Still is Moving Backward<\/h2>\r\n

Passionate winemakers never stop. With constant care and dedication, they work on their vineyards day in and day out, year after year. In recent years, the Sandrone family has expanded their vineyards significantly by adding two parcels to Barolo Le Vigne: Baudana and Villero.<\/p>\r\n

Sibi et Paucis, a Dream Come True<\/h2>\r\n

Each year, the family sets aside a small portion of their Nebbiolo wines \u2013 a few bottles of Cannubi Boschis, Le Vigne, and Valmaggiore. These are kept in their wine library, where they are stored under perfect conditions to rest and mature slowly. The seal on the labels marks these special bottles and their journey, which began underground in the cellars. Sibi et Paucis represents the passing of days, the art of waiting, and the moment of joy when a bottle is opened \u2013 when past and present come together.<\/p>\r\n

Sibi et Paucis was born from an intuition, which grew into an idea that found its solution by following the slow rhythm of nature, both in the vineyards and the cellar.
